I would like to share this image of the Willamette river which runs through the center of our town, Eugene, Oregon. It is a beautiful town that has nurtured me through the years.....I walked down from the path and set my easel on a rocky ledge with water flowing around me. The sun was peaking in and out and the air rising from the river was cool and refreshing. A day I will never forget. A happy day!!!....Enjoy the painting and embrace your life.....

This is a small mosaic I finished. I crafted it from thick paper and textured the surface with a high solid acrylic gel. Then paint the sheets and cut them into small mosaic tiles. This was great fun. I wanted to touch roots with the ancient past and the physical and mental journey was enjoyable as I assembled the piece. Hope to do more in the future.
