This is a tough series to create and share. With so many deaths in America now at 500,000 and climbing world wide, I find my heart and mind full with the sorrow and struggles that have entered so many lives. I am of the age that I have known loss and heart break. My photos and words are created to speak a lament, a calling out to the ones gone and the ones left behind not only from Covid, but also family and friends who's lives had gone their natural length. A soft and true tone thrown into the ethos. A calling out!

Where for art thou? I'm here!

Now you see me, now you don't!

What is happening?

Where have you gone? In my heart and mind you are still here. I am still here.

Do not fade away but please stay within sway of my sleep so I may dream of you.

You said it was just a cough, but it was more than that. It was a life sentence and then you were gone. Gone with all the others!

I do not remember what your favorite colors were, but I remember your voices and that is mine to keep.

A token of love no matter where we are. Filled with sweet scent and glimpses never to fade away.

Still among us as energy, as memory, as a part of our hearts. Always.

A moment together between the world wars. A wander in time. Now I am left to breathe and see and remember. Because of you I breathe. Thank You.

We never met, but I am part of you. Thank You.

Your Birthday candle in a donut  for your 97th. You are gone, but I remember that day.

You would be almost 102 years old if you were still with us. You said you never played Cricket and this photo was for a laugh. I smiled when you told me that.

Truly Loved By Many And Missed By All!

My Father and Kula on the beach years ago. Gone but certainly not forgotten. Memories and salutations to those we have loved!
